About The Author
Monica started playing games at a young age, with her first gaming-related memory being Super Mario Bros on the SNES (which she still happily comes back to sometimes). Although her gaming roots are in consoles, with Pokémon being a lifelong favorite, she fell into the rabbit hole of PC gaming and building in her early teens. Now, two decades after building her first gaming computer, Monica is a PC hardware journalist who spends most of her time tinkering with various builds or ranting about the prices of graphics cards. The rest of her time is spent gaming. Monica believes that gaming should be accessible to everyone, which is why she often covers budget-friendly solutions. Her work has appeared in Digital Trends, TechRadar, PC Gamer, Laptop Mag, Tom’s Hardware, SlashGear, and WePC.
